X-Fi Xtrem Audio = RAID Controller?

Bonjour à tous!

Voilà, je viens de recevoir ma Creative X-Fi Xtreme audio PCI-e
Je la branche, je démarre le PC et installe le pilote de la Xtreme Audio classique car il n'y a aucun drivers pour cette carte en PCI-e ... Mais le pilote refuse de s'installer, car la carte son est pas détectée...
J'installe donc un ancien pilote qui lui s'installe, mais au moment de lancer son panneau de config, il me dit aussi que le périph audio pris en charge n'est pas détecté.
Par contre il me detecte sur mon port PCI Express un RAID Controller que je n'ai pas...

J'ai essayé sur le PCI-e 1x et 16x, rien n'y fait.

Ma config:
Win XP Pro SP2
Carte Mère Asus M2N SLI Deluxe
Proco AMD Athlon X2 4200+
GPU 7900GS
3 Go de RAM DDR2 PC5300
2x Samsung SpinPoint SATAII en Raid0
Alim 520

Pilotes à jour

Si quelqu'un a une solution... ben ce serait super! Parce que là j m'arrache les cheveux en invoquant Satan... Un petit coup de main serait pas de refus ;-)

Je tiens à préciser que j'ai déjà utilisé "mon ami Google" et ses confrères...

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.11

J'ai désinstallé le RAID mais il me detecte quand même un controleur...

Personne n'a une solution pour installer du matos PCI-e hors carte graphique SVP?

Encore un Up (décidemment...)

Après une mise à jour du bios, Windaube me detecte un "MEDIA" dans controleur audio avec un point d'exclamation dessus...

Exactement la même situation pour moi. Je ne trouve aucun driver compatible avec cette carte pour XP32.
SVP, un lien pour ce driver.

Use X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook drivers

I had the same problem with the X-Fi PCI-e card with windows XP. I managed to get the card working by using the "X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook" drivers which you can get from the creative website.

However, you can't install the drivers using the setup.exe since since the software won't be able to detect the card. You have to install the drivers manually through device manager.

Use winzip to unzip the driver .exe contents to a temp directory. Eg c:\temp

Right click on "My Computer"
- Properties -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager
Under "Sounds, video and game controllers"
- Select the device
- Right Click and go to "properties"
- Drivers Tab -> Update Drivers
Can windows connect to windows update and search for software?
- No, not this time
What do you want the wizard to do?
- Click: Install from a list or specific location (advanced)
Please choose your search and installation options:
- Click: Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.
Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware:
- Click "Have disk"
- Go to c:\temp\Drivers\Driver\WinXP\bin
- Select t3.inf
- Hit "Open' then "OK"

Un-select "Show compatible hardware" checkbox (!!! Important !!)

Under Manufacturer select:
Creative Technology Ltd

Under Model Select:
SB Xtreme Audio Notebook

Click "Next"
Click "Finish"

Reboot your computer.
Go to control panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Audio tab
-Select "SB Xtreme Audio Notebook" as default device
- Hit "OK"

- Enjoy listening to your crappy audigy card that has been rebadged as a X-Fi Xtreme Audio.
- List the item on eBay and try to off-load it so some sucker so you can buy yourself a "Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro".
